We are seeking a Care Team Leader:


  • The opportunity to provide daily operational leadership on a 39-bed hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and palliative care unit.

  • The ability to participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes to further enhance care for our inspirational patients.

Education:

Minimum – Baccalaureate degree in nursing or ADN and achievement of BS in nursing within 5 years of hire.

Preferred – Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Two (2) years’ experience in an acute care inpatient unit.

Preferred – Three (3) years’ experience in an acute care inpatient unit.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin

CPR Certification

Preferred – National certification in relevant specialty

  • Facilitate quality improvement and standard of care.

  • Provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.

  • Apply the concepts of patient and family centered care.

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is an Evening/Night position with (12) twelve-hour shifts; work schedule is typically 1900-0730 . Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
