Job Description:

City Experiences is seeking Boat Tour Bartenders to work on our vessels at City Cruises San Diego.

About the Opportunity:

The position requires extensive cocktail knowledge, a passion for customer service and pride in personal grooming and presentation of self to guests. Days, weekend, and holiday shifts are available.

About You:

Successful candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Must be self-motivated, friendly and a team player with a flexible schedule. This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace while maintaining poise and grace.

  
  


• 
  

  Broad knowledge of cocktail preparation and the ability to mix complex drinks consistently.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to prepare basic food items

  
  


• 
  

  The ability to maintain a very clean and well­ run bar.

  
  


• 
  

  Collect money for drinks & food served and make correct change.

  
  


• 
  

  Serve patrons food & beverage order quickly, in proper portion with courtesy.

  
  


• 
  

  Check I.D. on any customer ordering alcohol who looks under 30 years old.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull and lift items up to 50 pounds.

  
  


• Additional job duties assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 
  

  Broad knowledge of cocktail preparation and awareness of beverage trends

  
  


• 
  

  At least two years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to reach, bend, stoop, stand for up to eight hours, and lift and move up to 50 pounds; ability to go up and down narrow stairs

  
  


• 
  

  Food Handler Certification required; TIPS certification desirable

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to be a team player, handling bar duties and assisting with vessel preparation and closure
