Field Construction Supervisor at Jonah Energy LLC in Pinedale, Wyoming

POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision the Field Construction Supervisor oversees field maintenance, pipeline builds, location/road builds and facility builds.  Works close with Construction Coordinator and Engineering group on layouts and scheduling of work. The Field Construction Supervisor schedules and supervises all work being done on the work site. Communicates well with multiple people and is able to organize multiple projects in the same day. This position is responsible for making sure JSA’s are filled out for each job and that crews have the proper PPE and equipment to be able to perform work safely. The Field Construction Supervisor is also responsible for verifying that work was completed, invoices are coded correctly and that work that was performed is accurately accounted for on invoices. This position reports to the Construction Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversees multiple jobs going on in multiple locations at the same time

  • Oversees Pipeline crews; ensures materials are delivered; ensures work is completed to company standards and safety protocols are followed; oversees crew schedules to ensure timely completion

  • Performs isometric drawings for each header and tracks heat numbers and P&ID’s for well files

  • Tracks footages and ensures pipelines are installed to specifications of work scope

  • Maintains accurate inventory record of Jonah construction materials in company and third-party yards; checks inventory to ensure we have parts available for jobs

  • Oversees fuel gas crews installing poly to rigs and works with drilling supervisors for desiccant units, underground and tie in riser placements

  • Performs maintenance activities on desiccant units and pressure skids i.e. rebuilding values, replace controller, inspect PRV’s etc.

  • Establish and maintain open and effective communications between all departments

  • Oversee dirt crews that may work in multiple location simultaneously

  • Track yardages on builds that includes materials, and the installation of culverts and waddles where necessary for erosion control

  • Order mag water for road maintenance and direct crews on what roads need repaired/ and or magged for dust control

  • Oversee CDP builds/ compressor builds

  • Provide support for inspectors over projects, be able to read ISO drawings and P&ID’s for facility/ compressor builds

  • Ensure heat numbers are tracked and isometric drawings are completed for each CDP/ compressor build for flow lines and all other piping

  • Walk through completed projects with all departments for sign off on each discipline and complete PSSR form

  • Direct field maintenance work of roustabouts in conducting activities in support of routine maintenance, equipment swaps and repairs, support for W/O rigs on removals/ re-installs

  • Work with coordinator/ inventory/ parts store (currently DNOW) to ensure parts needed are ordered timely

  • Maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation.

OTHER DUTIES


  • On-call one hitch per month for rig fuel gas, if required

  • Work overtime hours as needed

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the success of the department and company

  • Experience with work in both manual and electronic formats

  • Working knowledge of Peloton’s Wellview and Siteview

  • Ensure accurate coding on invoices and initial to prove work has been completed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effectively converse with all levels of the company, customers, business associates

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 6+ years construction work experience or other relevant equivalent experience
