About This Role:

As a member of Forrester's event sales organization, the Audience Acquisition Rep communicates the value proposition of attending a Forrester event, serving as a product expert to drive attendance and selling event tickets for our global summits and forums.

In partnership with sales reps and customer success managers, the successful candidate will guide Forrester's clients and prospects to attend the most relevant events aligned with their business initiatives. The individual will also be responsible for supporting internal Forrester needs related to event tickets. This includes assisting in reporting analysis for event tickets, working on event ticket projects, resolving technical attendee registration or ticket fulfillment issues, and answering general questions about Forrester events. The focus is on driving attendance, building awareness, and initiating adoption of and engagement with Forrester events.

Responsibilities


  • Serve as a product expert and develop expertise across Forrester's research areas to map client business initiatives to Forrester's events to drive event attendance, support renewal rates, and lead to additional event ticket enrichment opportunities.

  • Develop and evolve creative, strategic brand-building programs using digital and social media channels to promote our events.

  • Finesse your sales pitch to showcase the value of attending a Forrester event.

  • Leverage client engagement activity within your portfolio to create an events engagement strategy that will drive attendance.

  • Partner with the account teams to promote upcoming events and discuss account health, value, and opportunities.

  • Execute on events engagement strategies with your accounts to drive tickets sales.

  • Collaborate with events product and marketing teams, research, and others to promote a high-quality event experience.

  • Manage the events inbox, field support requests on our website, and take calls to the events general support line.

  • Collaborate closely with the global event sales and customer success teams to share best practices, ensure standardized training and capabilities, and meet shared goals.

  • Use our event registration platform, CRM system, event mobile app, and other technologies in support of event customer service, attendee registration and reconciliation, onsite experience, and activity and opportunity tracking.

  • Track all activity and correspondence in our CRM system. Follow up on tasks, leads, fulfillment items, and registrations within expected service levels.

  • Be available to travel within the US for Forrester events.

Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.

  • One to two years of related product specialist, inside sales, and/or customer service experience.

  • Experience in driving solution-oriented client engagement and delivering high-quality customer service to internal and/or external clients.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, collaborating with other divisions to achieve business results.

  • Understanding of how to use social, inbound, content, and outbound marketing to penetrate accounts.

  • Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills across functional groups.

  • A proven track record of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Attention to details, a high degree of organization, and proficiency in leveraging internal systems.

  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

  • Proven strong research and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to hold conversations with senior-level executives via email and phone.

  • High-level relationship skills.

  • Someone who is confident, self-assured, competitive, self-driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
