As an Advisor III you are responsible for driving revenue growth for the Global Treasury and Payments team in your assigned markets by providing client focused solutions. You'll work to thoroughly understand your portfolio companies' and prospects' business models, and strategically analyze and position SVB's US and international cash management solutions. You'll collaborate with external and internal partners to architect scalable solutions for clients and prospects with a focus on SVB's payment solutions, including Credit Card issuance and Merchant Services acceptance. The ability to partner with SVB colleagues is critical to help drive client friendly cross-sell efforts and enhance SVB client relationships. This role requires a leader with vision in the Payments and FinTech space. By providing relevant insight you'll become a trusted advisor for your clients' global treasury management requirements.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Thoughtfully review your customer needs, perform cost benefit and risk analysis; recommend effective strategies; and negotiate pricing to optimize profitability of product or service solutions.
Advise and position SVB's full suite of domestic and international treasury management products and services including ACH, credit cards, merchant card acceptance and international solutions across all life stages (early, growth and mature).
Develop sales strategies to meet sales and product penetration goals. Review client portfolios to resolve gaps in cash management products or opportunities to expand existing relationships.
Provide thought leadership to clients and colleagues for product features, enhancements and global treasury industry trends. Be recognized as trusted advisor in Payments products and services, including having your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies.
Effectively partner with Commercial Bank Market Managers in your territory to retain existing client base and support business development efforts.
Monitor and manage portfolio to identify and resolve risk factors and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
5 or more years of related experience in global treasury management products and sales. Strong aptitude for payment and technology solutions. Once on board, you will be provided a thorough knowledge of SVB's bank operations, platforms and products.
Background in data channels (e.g. web, SFTP, API banking) and technical integration with ERP systems is desired.
