This role is a multi-faceted position within the Credit Administration team requiring the ability to understand, partner and orchestrate multiple aspects of the business - processes, policy, and oversight. This role will report to the Head of E&RO/Deputy Chief Credit Officer. Escalations and Risk Oversight (E&RO) is a 2nd LOD function within Credit Administration focused on 1) managing policies, procedures and other credit governance processes in service of defining the bank's credit appetite; 2) overseeing and monitoring the 1st LOD lending and portfolio management activities 3) approving credit actions that fall outside of the established boundary conditions, and 4) providing reporting and other documentation to and interacting with various third parties including the bank's regulators on all of the foregoing. This individual will be a key liaison working with many cross functional areas across the bank. The role will be dynamic and enable the successful candidate to learn many aspects of the inner workings of credit, strategic planning, risk controls and executive interaction. Strong collaboration, organizational, and presentation skills required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5 or more years of banking experience and knowledge across at least several of credit and risk functions including, credit underwriting, loan underwriting systems, credit policy, operations, risk management and controls and relationship management.
