Position Summary:
The role of the Sr. Performance Assurance Consultant works to ensure a positive experience for the client by developing and managing our deliverables. In this role you will perform the daily operations of the project plan for each client, troubleshoot and resolve controls issues associated with HVAC equipment, and be the primary point of contact for the client. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of the performance guarantee and resolving various issues along the way.

Position responsibilities:


  • Diagnose complex system problems for clients
  • Lead, manage, complete, and delegate tasks specific to the assigned clients to ensure each client is served with excellence and sees the value being delivered
  • Manage flow of information between client and Energy Bureau and ensure effective communication of client goals, objectives, and schedules
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of savings reporting for assigned projects
  • Verify performance and sustained operation of Energy Conservation Measures
  • Works with engineers, designers and technicians to effectively develop recommendations to resolve problems
  • Perform site service when required
  • Design Monitoring plans to remotely monitor BAS systems
  • Help clients with any BAS operations, software, networking problems
  • Provide Energy Management guidance to clients
  • Specify and estimate hardware\software adds, change orders, and problem solutions
  • Provide ongoing client training, both formal and informal
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential skills and qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree preferred, Bachelor of Arts in Business or Finance acceptable, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in service industry with direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience
  • Building Automation System experience with understanding of operator knowledge, drawing package understanding, sequence understandings, operational intent, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of and proficient in project management skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient using task management programs or knowledge with Asana
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Effective working in team environment

When performing job site visits the employee will encounter moving over rough or uneven surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy to light items. Transporting of items such as laptop computers, tools, ladders and other heavy equipment; driving an automobile, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the primary duties of this job. While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job will require approximately 40-60% travel to project sites. Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.
