Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Traffic Clerk is to load, plan and schedule carriers. The Traffic Clerk schedules carriers to pick up sales order and deliver to customer within customer requested timeline. Duties will also include researching shipping delays, carrier issues, customer service inquires. The Traffic Clerk will also be coordinating shipping sales orders with production scheduling department, communicate with production scheduling regarding shipments, schedule customer pick up of sales orders and schedule transportation for inbound and outbound materials.
All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.
