i3 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.
Responsibilities
Contributing team member in the research, design, development, test, and analysis of anti-ship missile (ASM) simulators, simulations, and related subsystems.
Design and develop hardware, software, and firmware in EW applications.
Develop and implement algorithms for use in radar applications.
Support integration and verification testing in laboratory and field environments.
Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience.
Experience with C/C++ and Python languages.
Experience designing, developing, and testing electronic and digital circuits.
Experience operating electronic test equipment.
US Citizenship
Desired:
Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience.
Experience with radar and guidance systems.
MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis.
Experience with digital signal processing.
Experience debugging embedded software or firmware.
Experience with printed circuit board layout.
Experience writing technical reports.
Security Clearance:
Able to obtain an interim Secret level clearance by your start date with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
