HVAC/Mechanic at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia

Job Description:

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems and Equipment at the main hospital building as well as at satellite facilities.   Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs various types of heating, ventilation. air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.  Participates in the hospital preventive maintenance (PM) program. 

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED.


• Formal HVAC System Training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems from a Vocational School or Military Technical School.

Education Desired:

Water Cooled Chiller Training from equipment manufacturers such as Trane, Daiken, McQuay or Carrier.

Experience: 

• Minimum of three years commercial or industrial HVAC operations and maintenance (O&M) experience.
