Purchasing Supervisor at Hilton Global in Coronado, California

Job Description:

As our Purchasing Supervisor, you will be responsible for purchasing food and materials for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Purchase food, beverage and materials for the hotel through Hilton approved vendors
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the receiving, stocking and issuing of product. Receive daily orders from the hotel departments in order to create and execute purchase orders. Properly date and rotate food product.
• Adhere to established procedures and policies in purchasing
• Research prices and supplies of non-mandated items
• Maintain BirchStreet purchasing software's order guides and inventory
• Assist with the daily functions of the storeroom, utilizing proper product and work environment maintenance. Supervise the purchasing clerks and receiving clerks. Participate in monthly inventories.
• Perform other purchasing duties at management's direction.
