The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an IA/UX Web Developer Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact as a key member of a multifunctional team that creates customer experiences on 3m.com and ensures that all tactics are launched and maintained seamlessly.  You will report to and take direction from 3M Transportation & Electronics Business Group (TEBG) Marketing Technologies Manager.   

• Manage and create digital solutions that enhance a customer's experience and facilitate an enjoyable experience using various forms of digital and web media


• Build wireframes for 3m.com experiences and prepare for development execution


• Create engaging, relevant, and brand consistent content including web pages, infographics, illustrations, iconography, email marketing, and sales tools


• Collaborate with Experience team to develop integrated marketing tactics to meet business objectives, including user engagement KPIs


• Collaborate with 3m.com specialists to create and execute tactics on 3m.com, driving new website requirements where necessary to meet business goals


• Identify IA and UX issues/improvements and prioritize with the corporate digital services team (DST), holding them accountable to integrate into overall 3m.com user experience

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Two (2) years of website Information Architecture/User Experience (IA/UX) in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Web design and layout experience


• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe suite, etc.


• Familiarity with creating wireframes and tools such as Axure


• Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently and meet deadlines


• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized
