Ironclad Technology Services LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for a Voice/Data Communications Engineer to join our growing company in Washington Navy Yard, DC. Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position. The Voice/Data Communications Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, administration and support of data and voice communications networks. Secret clearance is required.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the usage and performance of voice and data communications networks.


• Maintain network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.


• Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment.


• Participate in network installations and upgrades. Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.


• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.


• Analyze, administer and maintain voice and data communications networks.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of directly related experience in Systems Engineering supporting Microsoft/Red Hat environments OR Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 8+ years of equivalent experience Security+ CE and MCSE certifications


• Possess a Secret clearance or above


• Experience with NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and JWICS networks


• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems


• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality service to end users
