Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the System Operator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the uninterrupted operation of the automatic picking system by working in one of three areas (pick-to-light; order tracking system; dispensimatic).

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Knowledge of system operation and cross training in all areas

  • Start and run PC's as required by area

  • Troubleshoots and clears reject lanes

  • Prepares and distributes documentation as necessary

  • Communicates with Supervisor any problems within assigned area

  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance

  • Performs other duties as assigned





Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

  • Prior warehouse experience

  • Ability to write simple correspondence

  • Basic mathematical skills

  • Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions

  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc... within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
