The Personalization Project Manager / Delivery Consultant is responsible for the delivery of decision support and personalized communications for Alight's clients. This individual will manage all project aspects, including monitoring scope, budget, schedule, cross-functional support and technical performance of component projects and operations.
This is a remote / virtual / work-from-home opportunity available anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
Manages detailed project requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish project deliverables and the project charter, if appropriate
Manages project scope changes using approved methods; facilitates scope change conversations with client leads/sales team and works with them to address scope changes with clients
Understands financial scope of the project and leads or provides support and financial data for client lead/sales team to create proposals and support documentation
Supports the sales process for new and ongoing projects by defining, confirming, and documenting project scope and the project schedule
Brainstorms new projects with clients and/or internally with client leads, digital experience consultants, sales, and other teams
Identifies key stakeholders and sets expectations for the project in accordance with the project plan
Asks appropriate questions to guide clients on how to meet goals for complex projects
Consults with the client on how to best communicate the value or decision points to employees
Develops and manages project schedule and risk management plan; addresses risks with client
Leads project kickoff meetings and regular status meetings, both internally and externally
Obtains senior management/client approval by presenting the project charter, where appropriate
Works with internal and external vendors to gather project estimates
Captures overall project status and data to maintain accurate and current information and closes and archives project documents
Creates or directs the development of meeting materials and presentations, and writes business cases for client-facing and executive leader situations
Establishes trusted relationships with other departments, organizations and clients; assess potential partnerships and commitments to project
Ensures completion of requirements for configuration, internal testing, and client/external testing.
Completes project and process evaluation, scorecard review, internal/external debrief meetings and documentation, and provides input to development of ongoing refresh schedule
Reviews process improvements/lessons learned with team
Improves team performance by building team cohesiveness (both internal and client), leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, drive commitment to project objectives and boost morale
Required Skills/Experience:
3-5 years of project management experience, ideally, in a similar role/environment
In-depth knowledge of employee compensation and benefits programs
Ability to provide clear, concise messaging
Ability to effectively communicate risks and impacts of missed deadlines with varying levels of internal and external contacts
Skilled at running meetings, especially with large groups of diverse attendees, both internally and with clients; strong presentation skills
Experience working under tight deadlines and managing key business priorities without jeopardizing quality
Experience with contract management and interpretation
Knowledgeable of data analysis and trend analysis
PMP or PgMP certification a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
