The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Corporate Auditor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Conducting and leading audits of moderate to high risk and complexity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of administrative efficiencies, that will lead to savings in financial resources and time


• Participating in audit scoping activities and risk assessment


• Interviewing business and plant management to understand and identify gaps in controls or operational improvements


• Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement


• Document and summarize audit findings and develop recommendations for process improvement


• Communicate audit findings both orally and in written form to business and plan management

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Three (3) combined years experience working in finance,  accounting, business development, and/or marketing, in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working in an internal audit function or external audit experience at a Big 4


• Solid analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities


• Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies


• A team player who is flexible, adaptable to change, and enthusiastically pursues solutions to challenging situations


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Experience working with SAP

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Maplewood, MN preferred, but open to US remote based work

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
