What we're looking for:

The Staff IT Systems Engineer handles designing and implementing automated endpoint OS builds capable of running remotely, handling all corporate Mac and PC desktop systems remotely via various MDM platforms, crafting automated application installation jobs, implementing, and supporting highly secure configurations, coordinating with other technology and engineering teams to integrate new platforms and systems and all endpoint related tasks. Delivering an outstanding user experience while highly delivering performant and secure systems is key to our success.

Role Responsibilities

• Build, keep, and update Windows and Mac OS automated builds.


• Configuration, administration, and maintenance of SCCM, Intune, and CEM environments


• Build and support reports and dashboards!


• Build and keep software packages and scripts.


• Create and support Windows and Mac core build applications.


• Design and implement Windows 10 device policies via GPO / Intune


• Design and implement Mac OS MDM Policies via CEM


• Design / Test / Implement software-based security solutions.


• Tackle build problems!


• Fix remote app installation issues.


• Seek remote OS upgrade failures.


• Fix Intune device enrollment issues.


• Seek Bitlocker encryption enablement issues.


• Certify New Hardware against OS builds


• Aid in managing application allowed/disallowed policies!

Basic Qualifications

• Requires deep knowledge of job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.


• Viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management.


• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intune configuration and device policies


• Intune software delivery methodologies


• Windows Autopilot build process


• Knowledge of Thin Client management (iGel/Workspace Hub)


• 10+ years experience with Microsoft SCCM or similar MDM platforms


• Hands-on experience with Windows automated build creation and maintenance


• Direct experience with Windows Autopilot


• Hands-on experience with Mac OS MDM administration such as CEM / Jamf, etc.


• Experience creating and supporting reports and dashboards with Power BI or equivalent


• Experience working as a member of a SAFe Agile project team.


• Hands-on experience implementing Bitlocker encryption remotely and solving problems. Should be able to explain UEFI and TPMv2 as related to Bitlocker.


• Experience with ITIL Framework


• Direct experience with Microsoft patching platforms including WSUS and SCUP.


• Hands-on experience with Thycotic Privilege Manager policy creation


• Documentation and Visio skills
