What we're looking for:

Your are Senior Site Reliability Engineer who enjoys pushing scalability to the limit with high throughput services. You have experience writing applications with either C#, Python or Javascript. If you have 5+ years of software engineering experience, we'd love to speak with you!

Position Overview:

The Citrix ShareFile team automates, implements, and supports Infrastructure-as-Code. Our Site Reliability Engineers are tackling and modernizing ShareFile and moving toward creating a robust container solution. This involves revamping automation and pipelines to release code quickly and safely to our customers. We are re-architecting legacy homegrown application components to use cloud solutions and continuously improving monitoring/alerting to make it more intelligent.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud architecture




• Build automation using industry tools (like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc) to deploy hundreds of different services




• Ensure a high degree of availability across all of our service offerings




• Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure




• Drive projects/technical initiatives and architectural/technical service improvements




• Design solutions with failure in mind to ensure reliability




• Using automation and aggregation to manage them

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience writing applications using C#, Python, or JavaScript




• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker




• Requires advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at scale obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management




• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of software engineering experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience




• 2+ years of SRE/DevOps experience




• Experience working with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform
