PAY - $16.90 / hr. and $.50 shift differential for nights
LOCATION - 1601 W. McKay Street, Frontenac, KS 66763
POSITION SUMMARY - This position serves as the primary inventory control and shipping support contact for distribution operations related to system activity. Responsible for not only maintaining accurate finished goods inventory levels, but also records of all inventory transactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to take and follow direction as given
Audit and input inventory receipts accurately for inbound finished goods
Complete understanding of ERP system as it relates to shipping and receiving of finished goods
Have a good understanding of Excel
Understand finished goods cycle count process and determine inventory adjustments
Respond to warehouse and transportation requests regarding customer order status
Participate in recall and other requests regarding shipping and receiving activities
Aid Quality with processing hold product
Informs Team Lead of any food safety problems
Participate in the improvement/problem solving process
Ability to work as part of a team
Show up to work on time and follow assigned schedule
Assignedshift attendance is required
Take breaks of appropriate length and frequency
Assumes responsibility for own personal development and continuous learning
Keeps abreast on new technology, methods and regulations related to responsibilities
Practices customer intimacy with internal and external customers in day to day responsibilities
Participate in training on new system development
Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions
Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED
Two years forklift operation in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
Strong Keypunch/Data entry skills
Familiarity with Excel/Word/Email/Warehouse Management System
Verbal and Math Skills - 12th grade level
Know when to ask for help
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Time management skills - develop and adhere to a schedule
Pay close attention to detail
Good organizational skills, ability to improvise, and moderate analytical aptitude
Good problem-solving skills
Can adjust to a new environment quickly
