We are currently hiring aBartender at our Samuel Adams Boston BreweryinBoston!

What You'll Do:

The Bartender role is a dynamic position which requires a rotation through different roles in the Front of House operations at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery. As a member of the Tap Room, the Bartender provides excellent, interactive, and educational service as well as help customers engage with the Samuel Adams Brand through beer sales.

• Help maintain culture, and positive vibe of the brand experiences in the Tap Room, while serving guests world-class Samuel Adams beers


• Convey knowledge about craft beer and the ability to educate customers on the process of brewing beer and the ingredients required to make beer


• Engage visitors through active selling of beers and food, while driving sales Crowler and Growler to-go options when appropriate


• Work all areas of the current front of house operation at Samuel Adams Boston Brewery, including greeting and seating guests, running beers and food, serving tables, pouring beers, preparing a small menu of food, and maintaining the retail store


• Ensure co-worker and guest safety through strict adherence to the company's COVID-19 policies and procedures, including daily health screens, use of proper PPE (face masks and gloves) and optional weekly COVID-19 testing conducted by the Brewery


• Maintain a clean, safe, focused, and productive environment on a daily basis in addition to being a lead brand ambassador


• Provide excellent customer service with a customer first attitude


• Use good judgment, communication, and customer service when interacting with Tap Room guests


• Understand when to elevate situations to Tap Room management


• Develop an understanding of the history and mission ofSamuel Adams, the Tap Room, as well as the brewing process itself

What We're Looking For:

• Required:
  
  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bartending, serving or retail experience preferred
  
  
  
  

• Desired: TIPS Certification
  
  
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  
  
  
  

Physical requirements: Able to be on your feet for 8 hours at a time. Be able to move 160lbs. Must be comfortable preparing and handling a small menu of food.
