Job Description:
Nemours is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Sonographer to join our team on a per diem basis!
The echo sonographer is responsible for performing all pediatric TTE throughout the Tri-State hospitals. The sonographer must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The echo sonographer is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
Schedule Requirements: On call, outreach clinics
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs all Echo procedures independently
- Utilizes hospital EMR and PACS system with accuracy
- Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
- Accept additional assignments and tasks
- Supports the mission and values of Nemours Hospital
Qualifications:
- Active certification by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Echocardiography (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)(RCS)
- BCLS certification
