Novo Health Services, a leader in textile and linen management who services the healthcare rental needs in the mid-Atlantic region, is seeking a Business Development Specialist for our corporate office. This position can be based out of Ravenna, OH, DuBois, PA or Atlanta, GA.
This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for seeking new clients, understanding customer needs, helping with sales pitches, and generally assist with the growth of the business and securement of existing business
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Growth of NOVO business:
Prospect via telephone, email, and using Definitive HC and maintain an updated prospective customer list in SalesForce.com. Records should include key positions within the hospital, email, phone number, # of beds, projected pounds, current supplier, contract expiration date, etc.
Assist with presentations and responding to RFI/RFP’s
Assist with preparation of marketing material and communications
Collaborate with VP of Sales and assist with sales and negotiations as needed
Market and build relationships with current customer base. The BDS will assist in creating and sending communications to customers
Assist in the contract renewal process as needed
Provide support to VP of Sales for new business efforts and contract renewals
Responsibilities:
The BDS is responsible for maintaining an updated and accurate database, sales projections, pipeline reports, and contract expiration list.
Ensure that BDS activity is conducted as scheduled daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly to achieve company sales and renewal targets.
Participation in prospective client and client meetings as needed.
Ensure that all data and information is entered into ABS, Linen Master, Sales Force, One Drive and other specific spreadsheets on a timely basis – weekly/monthly
Ability to analyze reports, create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and conduct meetings to review and present the information and data.
The BDS responds appropriately and timely to prospect and client issues, needs and requests and drives the follow up and resolution process
Ability and willingness to perform other duties assigned by Management
Typical work days are Monday – Friday but BDS is still responsible to promptly respond to after hour and/or weekend communications as needed
