Job Summary



  • Expectations of the position

As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You’ll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.



  • Job Location: Ft Pierce, Fl

 


Qualifications and Skills



  • Hard skills

    • Experience: 3 Years

    • Certifications: WIS, Cross-trained in 3 departments

    • Technical Skills



  • Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment

  • Understand defects and determine acceptance status

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Core Responsibilities

    • Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product

    • Complete inspection records and reports

    • May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process

    • Train and cross-train on all quality systems

    • Maintain attendance within acceptable standards



 



  • Safety Activities

    • Be aware of and observe all safety practices.

    • Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.

    • Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
