Job Description



Our warehouse associates perform the following duties in our year-round temperature-controlled, safety conscious environment. All duties are performed to increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction. These include receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.








Duties & Responsibilities





  • Receive incoming shipments of materials, unload goods in the appropriate area.

  • Open boxes, crates, and other containers and dispose of packaging appropriately

  • Verifies purchase order details via computer or handheld scanner into ERP system

  • Must be able to operate multiple types of forklifts to move material within the warehouse to assigned area, utilizing FIFO.

  • Picking material stock for work orders

  • Pickup or deliver parts utilizing Company vehicle as needed.

  • Perform other Material Handling duties as assigned

The Individual





  • High School diploma or GED

  • 13 months related experience or training

  • Ability to obtain forklift and walkie certification, operate overhead cranes.

  • Ability to pass requirements to drive company truck; must have a valid Drivers License.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures/work instructions.



PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; a minimum of 2 hours.

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the office, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing plant and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and carry up to 30 pounds.

  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned tasks.

  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment.

  • Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives, changing priorities and reassign priorities to complete assignments.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
