Senior Software Development Engineer - ASIC Driver team

Fortinet is looking for a senior software engineer with strong IP networking and system design experience to join our team. This position provides a good opportunity to work on different stages of the product cycle. This position offers a large scope of experience and direct involvement with complex and innovative technology.

Job Responsibility:

* Develop new models and features for FortiGate products.

* Develop firewall features, such as session management, hardware acceleration, IPsec, Qos etc.

* Linux kernel/driver development for network processors and switch chips.

* Improve system scalability, availability and performance.

Job Requirement:

* 2+ years of experience working in Linux environment.

* Experience with C/C++.

* Knowledge with IP network protocols, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching.

* Good problem solving and debugging skill.

* Experience for Linux network driver development is preferred.

* Knowledge and experience with network security is a plus.

Education Requirement:

* MS in CS/EE or similar field.
