Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned full stack engineer who can function up and down the stack. You will be working on an agile scrum team creating Jornaya's customer-facing and internal applications. You will implement our new and best in class user experience working closely with UX designers, data engineers, and other software engineers on your team.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

• Participate as a full member of agile scrum development team including standups, grooming, planning, and retros


• Add to, improve, and maintain Elm based UI


• Work with product owners to develop and deliver on product roadmap


• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production issues


• Occasionally advise and implement changes to legacy API systems (PHP and framework-less JavaScript)

• Three plus years of experience developing web UIs


• Two years experience working with and developing scalable APIs


• Deep experience in JavaScript or Elm


• Experience developing applications using AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Lambda)


• Team first - can do attitude

Nice to Have

• Significant frameworkless JavaScript experience


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
