Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer, Analytics

We are seeking a senior software engineer to join our FortiSIEM engineering team for data analytics project. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion to solve algorithmic problems in complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

* Design and implement various aspects of distributed log analytics that includes real-time in-memory analytics and historical analytics

* Interface with various public and private clouds, collect data and perform analytics

* Deliver top quality, well organized and algorithmically sound code on time

* Work closely with other developers, QA, PM, and support

* Participate in functional spec, design, and code reviews

* Learn and keep up with new progress in the big data analytics

Requirements:

* BS/MS in computer science or related field, BS with 3+ years of work experience

* Strong experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Big Data technologies - ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Kafka and HDFS, is a plus.

* Experience with distributed and high-scalable systems.

* Strong C/C++, Java programming experience.

* Development experience with Linux/Unix environments.

* Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOAD

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of databases and TCP/IP programming is a plus

* Working experience with network and system security is a plus

* Team-oriented, self-motivated, fast learner, and willing to work in a fast paced and cross-site

Education Requirement: Bachelors in related field
