Design Engineer 3 is available in Aurora IL through Belcan. In this position, you will Experience collaborating with suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturability.


Description:
Education Requirement Bachelor"s degree (or international equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, or Materials Science curriculum and 3+ years of progressive engineering experience, or 7+ years of progressive engineering experience.
Technical Skills Required * Previous experience designing light fabrications components.
* Executed all phases of at least one major new product development program.
* Experience collaborating with suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturability.
* Proficiency with solid modeling software (Creo preferred).
* Personal experience performing component level FEA (Creo Simulate preferred).
* Personal experience in executing APQP from beginning to end.
* Hands-on experience (e.g. machinery, heavy equipment, manufacturing processes, welding, etc.)
Soft Skills Required * Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross functional teams.
* Experience directing the work of other design and detailing resources to achieve design goals.
