Targa Resources is seeking a Senior or Lead Contracts Analyst for their office located in Tulsa, OK.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare agreements, amendments, terminations and contractual notices as appropriate
Work closely with Legal, Commercial Representatives on new contracts, replacement agreements, and amendments
Notify Commercial Reps of upcoming critical dates within the contracts
Process name changes and assignments related to contracting parties in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma
Meet monthly deadline to provide Plant Accounting contract, amendment and assignment details to ensure proper and timely settlement
Log and track documents until completion
Prepare documentation authorizing Counterparty setup in various systems
Filing and scanning documents timely
Prepare contract briefs and update computer systems for related documents
Work with appropriate groups to ensure their setups in various systems reflect the contract, amendment and/or new party due to an assignment

Adhoc projects as assigned by Management/Senior Management
As Lead, provides guidance to Contract Analyst and assists in developing contract skills in assigned functions
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree Required
Senior 5-8 years, Lead 8+ years of experience working with contracts in midstream energy sector
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented, focused with excellent organizational and time management skills
Results driven, takes initiative, accountable and responsible, can work independently and within/across teams
Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively communicate with different levels AND remain calm in high pressure situations
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and have an aptitude with various systems including the ability to easily learn new software
Regular and reliable attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Paralegal experience
5-8 years of experience working with gas supply and gas processing contracts in the midstream energy sector
Experience processing partial and total succession assignments and name changes. Requires ability to read and understand legal descriptions associated with properties in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma
Prior experience with Waterfield Energy Sofware and with QCM-Quorum Software
