The Manager Operations Strategy and Data Analysis reports to the Director Operations Strategy and Engineering and is responsible for JetBlue's overall Operations analytics strategy to deliver credible insight and predictive modelling for all Operations long-term planning while supporting "day-of" operations and after analysis.
The Manager oversees corporate data, operations analysis, and dashboard development in support of corporate initiatives and operation decision-making in Airports, System Operations, and Technical Operations. The Manager also enjoys interacting daily with people at different levels in the organization, influencing others without authority and is an effective leader whose personal values match JetBlue's Values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun.
Essential Responsibilities
Conduct strategic as well as operations analysis in support of corporate initiatives
Assess cost-benefits of corporate initiatives
Investigate and determines root causes of operational events and failures
Produce Operations briefings for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Create automated dashboard for performance tracking and reporting
Support various functional Departments with requested data and analysis for decision making
Automate and create production reports in replacement of manual process across corporate Departments
Collaborate with IT on Corporate Enterprise Data Warehouse development, including providing business guidance in OLAP cube development
Review and assess regulatory data/reporting policy creation and revisions
Prepare regulatory reports and data files per government requirement to ensure corporate consistency and data integrity
Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or Mathematics
Five (5) years data analysis or operations research experience in aviation or aerospace industries
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, SQL language, and data structure knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in statistical and Big Data knowledge
Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Eight (8) years data analysis or operations research experience in aviation or aerospace industries
Three (3) years' experience in supervisory or managerial capacity
Advanced degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or Computer Science
Proficiency in SAS

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
