SUMMARY:

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees' records and supporting therecruiting, onboarding and offboarding processes. Your role also involves performing various other tasks, with a focus on discovering and proposing process improvements to maximize efficiencies of internal processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the onboarding process by creating and processing New Hire paperwork and partner with Recruiting, IT, Payroll, and Benefits to ensure Day 1 readiness for all New Hires, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Tracking all New Hire paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy.

  • Verifying work authorization utilizing the E-Verify system.

  • Performing orientations and leading campus tours.

  • Support the offboarding process by creating and processing separation documentation, and partner with IT, Payroll, Benefits to efficiently manage all company exits.

  • Process data changes for all employee transactions and personal information into HRIS (SuccessFactors).

  • Maintain hard and digital records of personnel data in department database(s) (including but not limited to payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.), and ensure all employment requirements are met.

  • Maintain department shared drives with current forms and templates.

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.

  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.

  • Produce and submit ad hoc reporting and reports regarding general HR activity.

  • Assist with payroll projects as needed.

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

  • Support engagement initiatives and corporate communications.

  • Support the recruitment/hiring process of full-time, part-time and temporary employees bysourcing candidates, performingbackground checks, coordinating job postings, assisting in shortlisting, attending job fairs, issuing employment contracts, etc.

  • Perform special projects as needed, and perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:


  • 2+ years HR Assistant experience

  • Excellent organizational and communication and grammatical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Must be able to work professionally with flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must exercise tact and confidentiality when dealing with all issues

  • Minimum one-year experience working in HR and/or college level coursework in human resource development is preferred to ensure familiarity with human resource policies and procedures

  • Proven ability to work in an extremely confidential environment

  • Solid knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures

  • Ability to determine and accomplish goals and priorities with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill

  • Excellent computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
