GENERAL SUMMARY:

Functions as a key contributor to an excellent hiring experience for Bryan Health employees. Provides ongoing administrative and coordination support for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. In addition to the typical administrative duties, this individual will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the recruiters, candidates, all levels of leadership, and external organizations.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

  2. Registers, coordinates, evaluates, and determines schedules of recruiting job fairs/career fairs with appropriate staff and materials to generate qualified candidates.

  3. Maintains communication with clients as needed to quantify recruiting efforts in contract markets/needs.

  4. *Partners with the recruiting team to collaborate with local schools for lunch and learns, career fairs, and student education on a career in healthcare; creates communication and presentation materials.

  5. Creates recruiting fliers, brochures and mailers for career fairs and other events as needed.


  1. *Facilitates, coordinates, and maintains community outreach with organizations to support Bryan Health's mission as a community partner; responsible for being the point-person to such organizations.

  2. Researches and recommends possible recruitment partnerships with organizations; meets with organizations to develop a recruitment plan and pipeline.

  3. *Creates offer letters and coordinates candidate on boarding to ensure a positive experience. Follows through on backgrounds initiated by recruiters to ensure they are complete.

  4. *Initiates new hire paperwork process, schedules new hire health appointments, facilitates criminal background checks, and pre-employment screening processes as needed.

  5. Creates and maintains a process to ensure compliance in hiring practices.

  6. Assists recruiters with pay calculators, recruiting and sourcing as needed.

  7. Responsible for tracking the employee referral program.

  8. Acts as point of contact for relocating candidates.

  9. Responsible for communication with travel vendor and hiring leaders to schedule candidates for interviews, selection and onboarding as required.

  10. Maintains all records for travelers and communication for Bryan Health with vendor management company.

  11. Assists candidates in securing state license(s) if required.

  12. Responsible for managing and coordinating employee on-boarding as a result of acquisitions.

  13. Maintains knowledge of human resource processes, procedures and systems in order to quickly and accurately respond to inquiries.

  14. Evaluates and recommends process improvement changes.

  15. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  1. Knowledge of electronic personnel files and file maintenance systems and requirements.

  2. Knowledge of Microsoft programs and software including Word, Excel and Outlook.

  3. Knowledge of human resources informational systems and processes.

  4. Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.

  5. Skill in the operation and troubleshooting of relevant human resources equipment.

  6. Skill in critical thinking.

  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.

  8. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.

  9. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  10. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, community contacts and the public.

  11. Ability to effectively problem solve and research solutions using a variety of stimuli.

  12. Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.

  13. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree required; commensurate experience may be considered. Minimum of two (2) years' HR experience required. Some experience providing both administrative and communications support for Talent Acquisition as well as high customer service orientation.
