We are looking for an exceptional staff engineer to join our growing Water Business Unit in the Southeast.

You will use and develop your experience with evaluation, design and construction of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities, including pipelines and pump stations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create 3D models and layouts from design concepts using advanced CAD applications like C3D and/or InRoads.


• Under general direction, perform drafting and design tasks in accordance with company, client and industry standards.


• Coordinate small to medium, multiple and/or complex projects with other engineering disciplines to assist in the delivery of construction documents meeting scope, schedule and budget.


• Technical writing of memorandum, reports and technical specifications.


• Communicate with supervisor, senior designers and engineers regarding task execution.


• Perform engineering calculations, research vendor data, check for code compliance.


• Apply company software and IT tools in a consistent and coordinated manner with other project team members.


• Work according to Kennedy Jenks' Design Delivery workflow and best practices.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline


• 0 to 5 years of relevant experience


• EIT or PE License


• Ability to travel


• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record


• Energy, focus and the desire to grow in your career


• Water and/or wastewater treatment or conveyance experience is a plus


• AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation Inroads experience is a plus
