The implementation administrator position is responsible for the setup of client demographic and benefit plan information, enrollment into new and renewing benefit plans, and related materials and plan maintenance for assigned clients. The implementation administrator also provides excellent customer service by daily interacting with internal and external clients or designated contacts through phone calls and email, provides input on functionality and efficiency of setup in system, and provides administrative and subject matter support.
Essential Functions
Serve as primary assigned client and internal contact for implementation and systems setup of client benefit plans
Acquire and maintain knowledge of general health benefits, insurance carrier and company terminology and of plans specific to assigned clients
Properly organize, and process or import files and forms with client and participant information and enrollment
Review discrepancies in data, and request clarification according to department standards Interact with assigned clients or designated contacts as needed, and internal team members, for issues related to implementation functions
Prepare and provide related system reports
Request and process data for client plan maintenance
Prepare client administrative agreements using templates and plan setup information
Research issues from clients and internal contacts; respond and communicate as needed
Understand applicable plan legislative regulations and plan provisions
Provide department support and team assistance as needed
Preferred Education and Experience
Two years or more prior work experience in an office environment in a related industry and/or function preferred
Excellent communication and organization skills
Prior work experience with implementing or administering benefit and/or insurance plans preferred
High school diploma or GED or further applicable education/equivalent experience
Proficiency with Excel and database applications including formatting and formulas
