A rare opening for a RN Director Operating Room Ambulatory Surgery Center just became available at a busy, successful ASC in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will replace the ASC’s longtime Nurse Director who recently retired. The RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will be well supported by an Outpatient Surgery RN Manager and oversee a large team of 25 FTEs.

This beautiful, updated surgery center is part of a respected, growing system of ambulatory surgery centers.  The multi-specialty ASC features 5 Operating Rooms, 2 Procedure Rooms, and 2 GI suites and sees 14,000+ annual cases.

The RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will oversee the nursing staff and all ASC business operations, including patient care, risk management, scheduling, licensing, and materials. As part of a large, stable ASC network, the RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will have ample support from corporate for HR matters, A/R, and credentialing. 

The RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will focus on standardization of nurse care, process implementation and improvement, and staff training. Long-term, the RN Director Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC will work diligently to optimize resource utilization and boost procedure volumes.
