Job Description:

Sr. Software Engineer is one of our engineering leads and a vital member of the digital engineering group. We are looking for technologist with a passion for innovation, professional growth, and the development of new customer-focused products. He/She will be able to lead the development of advanced features under an agile, continuous deployment environment.
This individual will have the ability to work autonomously, lead creative new projects, and be part of an outstanding team culture that values mentorship, professional growth, and diversity. This role will share knowledge and solutions across multiple development teams to deliver contemporary digital solutions that contribute directly to customer and business success.

A successful candidate will be able to:

• Exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on exciting projects
• Perform functional analysis and architecture for customer and business solutions
• Implement solutions in cloud environments leveraging AWS, Azure, and GraphQL
• Design new solutions and system architecture across a diverse technology stack
• Translate graphic designs into production ready products
• Work with enterprise architecture resources to provide technical expertise
• Partner with Product Owners to identify technical requirements and functional needs of upcoming features.
• Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service opportunities
• Define overall front-end and delivery system specifications and requirements

Must Haves:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related practical experience
• 5+ years experience in software development: NodeJS, React, GraphQL
• Proven experience with agile (continuous delivery) and iterative methodologies
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and writing automated tests

• Solid experience writing product development requirements and business architecture
• Demonstrated experience in generating process modeling
• Understand life cycles across digital products and pilots
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Demonstrated analytical and R&D skills
• Solid experience with hybrid & cloud environments
