This position is responsible for managing sales operations.
This position will focus on internal operations to successfully launch and manage client partnerships and strategic programs.This includes interfacing with various departments to ensure the details that the sales team creates are executed on and product the right outcomes.When necessary this position will revised and create processes to ensure operational efficiency.
This position will work with the key stakeholders throughout the organization (including Sales leadership, Finance, Student Central, Legal, Strategic Enrollment, Training and Marketing) to help identify, evaluate and design innovative global and scalable operational processes to increase operational and business efficiencies.
Utilizes existing DeVry University support systems, reports, and resources, as well as other functional resources to be proactive in meeting the student's needs.
Evaluate student persistence reports and drawing on knowledge of the unique needs of this group of students, make recommendations to Location Leaders, and/or Student Support Colleagues as to programs or processes that will meet the needs of the location and the student.
Provide national training and share best practices to sales leaders on executed programs and their results.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Multifunctional areas to support their sales & career services efforts through operational support.
Networks with local, regional and national leaders, agencies, and contractors to facilitate growth in the corporate market. Meets with VRC (Virtual Resource Centers) to uncover additional partnership opportunities within DeVry.
Develop and maintain partnership operations to ensure that partnerships deliver on client and University objectives.
Work closely with Sales leadership, Career Services, Marketing, Academics, Admissions, University Operations, Analytics, Training, IT and other internal departments to ensure partnerships are performing at plan and adjusting operations when necessary.
Focus on execution to deliver on the partnership experience that we sell to our clients.
Partner with Department of Enrollment Management and Student Central to support product delivery and provide oversight related to partnerships and students.
Prioritization around initiatives that align to organizations strategy.
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
Coordinate the communication between support functions and the different departments.
Productize sales offerings to create off-the-shelf solutions for the sales team to bring to market.
Understand university operations and KPIs to help drive sales excellence
Assists with development of national objectives, strategies and directives for sales processes.
Assists with development of tactical plans to improve market presence and relations within all sales channels.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Project Management or related field.
5+ years in sales operations or related experience
Strategic thinker with ability to develop and execute new ideas
Exception organization and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage professional relationships
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Self-motivated with the ability to oversee projects independently from conception to completion
