Position Snapshot
Our Remediation Equipment Operator safely operates various light and heavy equipment in support of activities related to field remediation.
Day in the Life
While no two days are exactly the same, as an Operator, you can expect to:
- Operates heavy equipment such as an excavator, bulldozer, loader and/or backhoe
- Perform physically demanding tasks
- Assist with waste transportation and disposal coordination, manifesting, and tracking
- Meet with your team members onsite to discuss objectives for the day, and help troubleshoot any issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping
- Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times
- Confined space entry
- Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime, weekends and emergency response as needed
What you need to apply
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- A valid driver's license
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper
- Must have appropriate operator's licenses for equipment
- Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation
- Comfort wearing a respirator as needed
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and travel as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and random drug screening
