  • This role will accelerate BIOVIA's business growth ambitions through strategic product/solution portfolio planning & enablement, as well as strategic ecosystem and partnership development.

What will your role be?

  • Develop and lead execution of BIOVIA's strategic growth plan which requires alignment with corporate strategy and KPIs

  • Conduct market analysis and business plan development for key industries and respective channels, ecosystems, and marketplaces. Key industries include Life Science, Energy & Materials, Consumer Products, Transportation, Aviation, and High Tech.

  • Engage with prospects, drive and manage the relationship

  • Define priorities, outline frameworks, and determine rules of engagement for those prospects with internal stakeholders (e.g. R&D, Product Management, etc.)

The challenges ahead:

  • Develop a keen understanding of the BIOVIA business, customer base, and overall mission

  • Lead the effort on the strategic and purposeful expansion of the Brand's ecosystem and marketplace by leveraging customer ecosystems

  • Support the optimization of BIOVIA's partners' ecosystems by identifying and capturing business partners that will accelerate partnerships and extend portfolios' capabilities

  • Manage financial tracking of royalties and payments and ensure proper communication with the partner and internal stakeholders, implement appropriate touchpoints throughout the alliance lifecycle

Your key success factors?

  • An MS degree is required, plus an MBA is preferred

  • 15+ years of experience in software partner management with respects to one of the following industries from a technical alliance perspective Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Genomics, Informatics) Chemicals, or Energy (Oil, Gas)

  • Advanced Negotiation skills are required (i.e. the ability to negotiate between vendors to acquire most fiscally effective agreements)

  • Experience with management, team coordination, and cross-functional collaboration experience; team-oriented contributor with the proven ability to coordinate efforts, both internally and externally and to give direction and guidance to other team members
