Job Description:

PAPÉ KENWORTH ALASKA – ANCHORAGE, AK

SERVICE DEPARTMENT DISPATCHER: Seeking a Service Dispatcher responsible for scheduling and prioritizing job assignments for Truck Technicians. Position will work closely with other office personnel, Product Support Representatives, Service Manager and Technicians. Primary duties include:

• Assisting with answering customer questions.


• Monitoring of Technicians progress.


• Monitoring work in process.


• Data entry.


• Following up on schedules, changes and/or delays and properly communicating these as needed.


• Reviewing packets for proper documentation.


• Maintaining incoming work log.


• Updating advisors on projected completion time for in process work.


• Communicating well within service team.


• Maintaining organization with multiple projects moving forward at the same time.

Technical knowledge of heavy trucks and dispatching experience preferred. Applicant must have excellent communication, customer relation and data entry skills. Computer proficiency, including experience with Excel and Word is required. Must be multi-task orientated with excellent attention to detail.
