PRN Registered Nurse (RN) at Catholic Charities in Baltimore, Maryland

Job Description:

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse  within St. Elizabeth Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.

Schedule:

Required to work any four shifts within 30 days including a weekend shift:

• Day: 7am-3:30pm


• Evenings: 3pm-11:30pm


• Nights: 11pm-7:30am


• One Saturday or Sunday

Core Responsibilities:

• Utilizes nursing process prioritizing care in decision-making when identifying problems and implementing activities
  related to elder care.


• Maintains necessary elder care documentation per policies and procedures and as required by State and Federal
  regulations.


• Follows and reviews nursing care plans for individual elders on an on-going basis.
  Administers direct nursing care to selected elders to maintain clinical competence and/or to assess nursing care
  requirements of a particular elder.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active Maryland RN


• CPR Certification is required


• Ideal candidates have at least one year of full time experience as a nurse working in a long-term care facility and should have experience working with dementia-care patients
