Job Description:



Develop Territory Sales and Service strategy that attains targets set by corporate objectives. Maintain high

standards of customer satisfaction within area of responsibility. Complete territory responsibilities to cover a

broad range of customers (OEM's, Dealers and Fleets) for Meritor Core and EV Truck Products. Ideal candidate for this role will maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction, and the ability to develop and deliver technical training to internal and external field customers. (OR, WA)

Job Responsibilities:

-Manage Sales and service for commercial vehicle products at fleet and dealer customers

-Primary point of contact for fleet operators for issues relating to pending and completed Meritor and Meritor/Transpower medium and heavy duty truck, tractors, and school busses, for core and electrification products

-Establish points of contact with all customer base, dealer and fleet, for Meritor core and electrification products in assigned territory and reach out to these contacts on a regular basis, including personal visits to debrief them on their experiences and offer support.

-Assist EV fleet operators in understanding the meeting external battery charging and other support infrastructure requirements.

-Receive and log sales & service calls from dealer and fleet customers including EV products and OEM’s and respond to them as quickly as possible to determine the nature of the problem.

-As required, develop and oversee procedures for responding to service calls from EV Fleet Operators.

-As required, support public demonstrations of Meritor-Transpower EV’s to enhance outreach and marketing efforts.

-Participate in monthly program/communication meetings to assist in a final solution to emerging issues and to be privy to new issues.

•Implements sales / service automation techniques through strong computer skills

•Creates and implements territory sales plans to achieve business unit growth targets

•Develop and achieve service training strategies consistent with corporate goals and customer needs

•Professional presence and relationship building across a wide range of customers

•Provide feedback on product related issues to corporate technical support and marketing teams

•Manage to budget and sales goals effectively

•Research market for competitive information which includes but not limited to pricing, product performance, warranty

•Extensive travel to customer sites in the designated territory

-Provide technical support for customers on Meritor Core and Electrification Products



•Bachelor's Degree or 2 years technical degree in motor vehicle studies, electronics and/or hybrid electric vehicles

•Minimum 5 years of commercial truck or transportation field experience preferred

•High level of technical knowledge with Commercial Vehicles product lines and EV’s preferred

•Ability to train technical people on technical subjects

•Strong computer skills – experience with SalesForce customer management system preferred

•Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills

•Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (daily and overnight trips to customers)
