Maintenance Technician - AC Hotel Dublin at Shaner Hotel Group Limited Partnership in Dublin, Ohio

Job Description:

We are looking to expand our team at our award-winning hotel. The AC Hotel Dublin is part of the Marriott family of hotels and part of the Shaner Corporation. We are located in the scenic Bridgepark area of Dublin. We were ranked #1 for all of the AC Branded Hotels last year and have finished within the top 3 every year since our opening in 2017. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for keeping all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks. They are tasked with assisting the Chief Engineer and other members of the team with all building and grounds maintenance as needed. They are paramount in ensuring a safe environment for all guests and staff by adhering and meeting all safety and security measures per OSHA guidelines and standards. Additionally, our techs will provide professional and courteous service to all guests upon request and be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Job Safety Guides.

Note: Our Hotel is a 365-day a year operation with nights, weekend, and holiday availability a must. This position is predominantly for second shift and would require night and weekend availability.

This is currently a Full-Time Position. As part of the Marriott family of hotels, all associates are eligible for the Marriott travel discount. Additionally, Full-time positions include free medical insurance, 401K (after 1 year of service), and paid time off. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years Maintenance Experience preferred in relevant field


• High School Education or Equivalent (Bachelors and/or related Tech School degree preferred)


• Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management, and co-workers – both in person and on the phone.


• Good Time Management & Problem Solving skills


• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical a must


• Valid Drivers License & Clean Driving Record Required
