Who Are You?

As a Motion Designer, you'll manage, concept and execute high quality visual creative on multiple accounts and projects. You will be responsible for the conceptual and stylistic direction on several marquis brands, part of a broader creative and client-service team whose primary goal is to deliver results with design ideas that earn their way into conversation and get shared like wildfire.

You're passionate about the craft, sweating the typography, pinpointing that tenth of a second to cut footage, choosing color like it's your second language. You have good taste, obsessively following the design world, but you don't copy trends. You're driven and curious, unafraid to build something new without someone holding your hand. You're a problem-solver.

We are looking for a Motion Designer with 3 years of experience.

What you'll do:


    • Work closely with Creative Directors, Copywriters and a broader creative team to support the execution of integrated and digital campaigns and creative communications

    • Create breakthrough motion design for multiple clients on social, digital, and video campaigns

    • Have Practical skills in video editing & motion graphics; creating assets in Premiere Pro and After Effects

    • Execute for a wide variety of communications projects, including print, social and digital, video and interactive

    • Participate in creative and conceptual brainstorms that lead to actionable ideas

    • Think strategically and conceptualize creatively, staying informed and active in the design community around you

    • Work closely with a project manager to schedule projects and coordinate production

    • Effectively complete projects within time frames and budget parameters, hitting deadlines and managing stakeholder expectations

    • Ensure UX and brand best practices are upheld through all digital touchpoints.

    • Propose design solutions that are both meaningful in metrics and brand mission-while supporting data driven requirements

    • Digital content design and creation - from creative conception to execution to asset management

What you'll bring:


    • A drool-worthy portfolio that includes social, digital, and motion/video campaigns for brands, showing powerful visual storytelling across many media

    • At least 3 years of designing for marketing, advertising or social media within an agency setting

    • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills

    • Working knowledge of production methodologies for photoshoots and video shoots

    • Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail

    • Experience maintaining stakeholder contact as needed and assisting with budget and schedule development (i.e., knowing how long it takes you to do things)

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    • A BFA in Graphic Design, Advertising or Fine Arts (or other related field), strong layout and composition, with a keen eye for typography and motion. Awards are nice, but not a prerequisite.

    • A professional-level knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Lightroom) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/Word)

    • *Video editing & motion design skills are required*

    • Nice-to-haves that could make you extra valuable to us:

    • Experience in 3D motion design

    • HTML, CSS and JavaScript proficiency
