Job Description:

The Lead Systems Engineer provides systems engineering support for product strategy, requirements, architecture, analysis, simulation, design, and validation at the systems level for advanced vehicle mobility technologies with an emphasis on electric propulsion systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and facilitate implementation of system level product platform strategies.


• Lead and support system level product development activities on special projects / new products and manage related documentation, including:

◊ Stakeholder (internal & external) requirements and interface

◊ Requirements synthesis, roll-down, and management

◊ Concept generation and selection, trade studies, optimization and innovation

◊ Architectural design

◊ Analysis and validation

◊ Coordination and integration

◊ Problem resolution

• Facilitate the introduction of advanced technologies on legacy products.


• Liaise with cross functional product engineering groups and engineering support functions.


• Apply and evolve best practices and tools related to systems engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science required


• Master's Degree in System Engineering or equivalent preferred


• Minimum of (5) five years of work experience on automotive and/or commercial vehicle mobility systems required


• Relevant experience with interdisciplinary product systems, including electrical and mechanical systems required


• Formal systems engineering certificate, training, or commensurate experience


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Ability to travel 15-20% as required
