Overview

As a Quality Assurance Lead Analyst at Lakeland Bank you will be executing, and managing test plan and test strategy for functional, regression, and user acceptance testing for large complex transformational projects utilizing Bank defined QA processes and standards. The QA Lead Analyst, in conjunction with the project office and Information Technology groups, ensures project activities and deliverables meet internal QA standards and adhere to established processes, and are completed on time with the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

    Collaborates with business and IT partners to review and clarify the scope of testing and business requirements for applications being tested.
  • Works very closely as a member of an agile team, develop a strong understanding of project objectives and provide robust acceptance criteria.

  • Develops application testing project plans, estimates, timelines, and status reporting.

  • Defines a test approach, test data, and strategy for the application under test.

  • Responsible for QA test execution, coordination of user acceptance testing, and post-implementation testing support activities.

  • Collaborates with the engineering team around best practices on test data generation, data masking, and test environment readiness.

  • Participates in troubleshooting and triaging issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identifications and solutions.

  • Documents, tracks, and escalates issues as appropriate, using ServiceNow or JIRA

  • Supports off-hours testing during off-hours application production deployment for "validation testing."

  • Ensures that QA processes and standards are followed across all QA activities, including BAU and Projects.

  • Provides management level updates on QA testing, defects, risks, and KPI metrics.

  • Collaborate with vendor test leads to ensure continuous improvement of test activities.

  • Executes all functional/regression/integration/performance tests according to test plans and scripts, document results, and quickly identify and troubleshoot issues.

  • Manages project workloads, schedules, scope, and deadlines to eliminate constraints and ensure that customer needs and project metrics are met.

  • Take ownership of overall work assignment and quality deliverables.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in testing complex global applications.

  • Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools, and methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).

  • Hands-on experience working with test management tools like HP ALM, ServiceNow, and JIRA.

  • Understands the project management lifecycle and the importance of testing in the development process.

  • Basic knowledge of data, architecture, infrastructure, configuration, release management, and its relationship with the Software Testing lifecycle.

  • Basic understanding of test automation, performance, and security testing.

  • Ability to suggest new ideas and initiatives when approaching problems and/or challenges. Ability to take a creative approach to quality improvement.

  • Ability to learn and understand new products and technologies quickly and has the versatility to move from product to product or application to application as needed.

  • Ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Ability to multi-task and accurately complete assignments with competing deadlines and juggle competingpriorities.

  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skill.

  • Effective writing, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent team player and highly collaborative.

  • Must be bonable

Preferred Qualifications


  • 3+ years financial and banking industryexperience.

  • SalesForce / CRM testing experience is highly desired.

  • Certifications in Quality Assurance, Process, and/or Project Management.

Scheduled Hours
