Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:


Oversee the day-to-day construction activities for CNG, LCNG, and Hydrogen fueling station construction projects.


Perform all QA/QC functions including inspection of work in progress and that work is performed within the approved scope, budget, schedule, project plans and specifications.


Review Contractor project schedules to confirm that the equipment and materials are delivered, utilities are coordinated and contractor is progressing to achieve the targeted completion date, in compliance with submitted look-ahead forecast.


Manage the subcontractors working on the construction projects. Confer with and direct subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.


Assist in permitting efforts with Planning Departments and Building Departments for assigned projects.


Document daily and weekly activities of the project.


Perform preliminary punch-list walks with Operations, Contractor and Customer and verify final completion of all punch lists items.


Perform all QC functions on the project by inspecting work in progress to verify that workmanship conforms to the plans and specifications.


Manage and Contractor change orders and notify the Project Manager of any pending change orders for out of scope work.


Review and approve Contractor and Supplier invoices.


Work closely with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to understand codes and requirements and ensure our compliance with the applicable codes, permits and requirements.


Review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications and to identify any constructability issues.


Observe all field testing and provide PM with completed test reports.


Oversee safety at the construction sites to ensure all safety procedures are being followed. Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide documentation of these meetings. Notify the Project Manager of any incidents, accidents, and unsafe practices.


Prepare or review reports on progress, equipment deliveries and supply and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by requirements.


This position will require an estimate of 80% travel to various in progress construction sites.


Other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities


Supervise and oversee the subcontractors on the construction site during projects. Ensure that the subcontractor is appropriately managing subcontracted labor and craftsman on the job site.

Education and/or Experience


High School Diploma or equivalent, 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong project management and organizational skills. A strong sense of safety and familiarity with OSHA regulations.


Language Skills


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general construction documents, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent oral and written communication abilities.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills


Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong internet skills.
