The Role: Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Financial Systems
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with both proven ERP and FP&A systems experience to manage our financial systems with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning.
Responsibilities
Workday Adaptive Planning
Assist FP&A in managing the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plan models
Manage Adaptive at Chegg
NetSuite
Monitor all functional areas within NetSuite on a continuing basis with functional areas including, but not limited to, scheduled scripts, scheduled reports, user dashboard portlets, user logins, and NetSuite-3rd Party integrations
Create saved searches and saved reports in NetSuite for end-users, meeting any specific reporting requirements including using formulas to manipulate results
Manage scheduled NetSuite updates including code bundle updates
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Other Financial Applications (secondary responsibility)
Instrument journal entries, account reconciliations in Blackline
Accounting close support including cash reconciliation and other reconciliations
Financial Audit support including SOX narratives
Financial applications ITGC management
Application performance monitoring
Support the Data Architecture and the Business Intelligence teams with financial data governance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred
Experience with FPA systems (preferably Adaptive Insights) and ERP ( preferably NetSuite)
5+ years with FP&A and 5+ years NetSuite OneWorld
2+ years SuiteScript experience, including the development of new customizations as well as updates and modifications to existing scripts. Analysis of business processes to recommend scripted optimizations/improvements.
Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to troubleshoot scripts, integrations, and workflows
Functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite/Adaptive Insights including hands-on implementation, integration, customization, and support experience
Strong leadership skills are required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Access skills desirable
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
Requirements

Reviewing scheduled NetSuite updates or bundle updates and researching any issues the updates could cause with customizations added to NetSuite
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Maintaining the integrity of data used for business processes and understanding the unique data requirements and tools needed and being able to create solutions for these needs
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, menu pricing, new store rollouts as well as new projects
