WellSky is seeking a RPG Programmer to join our team. We are on a mission to elevate healthcare through superior analytics, processes, and engineering. The Technical Consultant is responsible for the coordination and execution of technical project activities during Professional Services engagements, ensuring project success, the satisfaction of contractual obligations, and the transition of customers into a post-implementation Customer Service program.


A Day in the Life!


You will be responsible for the following:



  • You'll be instrumental in writing, debugging and deploying high-quality software using established coding standards and development best practices

  • You'll be responsible for testing software to ensure quality and alignment to standards and best practices

  • Participate as required in the implementation processes.

  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by adherence to all deliverable dates in the project plan.

  • Provide accurate and consistent documentation of time expended and progress achieved against assigned activities in the division's standardized Professional Services Automation platform and other systems as required.

  • May provide support to customers after hours and on weekends. Resolve problems efficiently and professionally by applying knowledge of system software, applications, and hardware including third-party peripherals that affect the functionality and performance of the Company products.

  • Respond to the needs and requests of clients, management, and staff in a professional manner.

  • Review appropriate documentation such as implementation manuals, support manuals/playbooks, performance testing guidelines, etc. as needed to run/support the software.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution.

  • Your mission will be to create easy to use, powerful, cloud-based solutions which allow medical professionals to focus on what they do best - treat patients.

Job Competencies:



  • Software development using RPGLE and CLLE programming.

  • Decision Making.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office products.

  • Sense of Urgency.


Job Requirements:



  • Minimum 3-5 years of development experience using RPGLE / RPG and CLLE

  • Experience with SQL and application support.

  • Experience and enjoy working in an Agile environment.

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
