Our Defense Team supports our Nation’s warfighters, providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of military operations.  Our efforts include development, testing, and large scale prototyping mission-critical wireline, wireless (including FirstNet), and 5G expansion solutions to the US Army.   

AT&T has an opening for a Program Manager Technical Specialist to support the US Army. Will provide services related to managing cellular infrastructure expansion efforts at various Army installations.  The efforts provided by the candidate filling this position are anticipated to dovetail with and support multiple Army projects supporting 5G related applications and networks to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users. Also will support other DoD installations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the AT&T Client Executive
  • Leads activities with AT&T and clients to support expansion and testing of base cellular infrastructure, upgrades, and configuration changes. 
  • Coordinates engagements that leverage core AT&T mobility, engineering, construction and site acquisition teams to enhance mobility services on DoD installations 
  • Contributes to new program initiatives, proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing solutions and pricing of highly complex 5G/IoT/Mobility solutions for the DoD
  • Develops strategic plans around 5G, MEC, and NEC
  • Provide/suggest training for broadening and deepening the Army support team’s knowledge and experience to support identification of additional opportunities.

Required Clearance:SECRET (#secret)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mobility technologies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with baseline proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong people and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of AT&T’s 5G/IoT and Mobility portfolios.
  • Experience with AT&T RAN, Site Acquisition, or Construction organizations.
  • Expertise with the coordination implementation and of AT&T’s 5G/IoT/Mobility solutions into Army / DoD environments
  • Significant experience supporting United States Army IT related enterprises.
  • Comfortable working with confidential /sensitive/ secret or proprietary information
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and oral) and strong listening skills
  • 8570/8140 IAM: IAT II
  • Security Cert: One of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GSEC, Security + CE, SSCP
  • Computer Cert: CCNP  
  • IT Level: IT Level I
